The Healsafe BH Hook has been designed with specific design details that make it both safe and functional. While the Healsafe Hook is capable of holding the weight of several garments or towels, any excessive force bends the hook, making any ligature risk slide off. The Hook has been tested to 1000 cycles, and still maintains its original shape and function.  Releases at 8.5 - 9.8 kg of force. Healsafe hooks should be mounted on a flat wall surface to obtain a tight fit to the wall and thus prevent the possibility of attaching a string or the like between the wall and the hook.
